Our qPCR Expertise
Knowledge and experience, the core of BioSistemika’s qPCR Experience workshops has its roots in the first and most experienced qPCR centre in Slovenia, the qPCR centre at the National Institute of Biology. We are still involved in qPCR research work there and present in the international qPCR community since 2002 as seen from our selected scientific publications below.
All instructors on qPCR Experience workshops are well experienced in complete qPCR workflow, have a broad overview over technology and its future directions and are trained to work in laboratories that have quality assurance and follow strict rules of ISO standards. Part of our team was actively involved in setting-up such standards in a routine molecular diagnostic laboratory, in pertaining (qPCR) method validation and accreditaion procedures and are trained internal auditors for ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
Having practical experience in scientific, diagnostic, industrial research and in presentation skills either for international scientific community or for regional specialised communities and internal educations our team is able to present the qPCR topics, research work and address trouble-shooting questions in a straightforward and professional manner. Since 2006 members of our team have organized hands-on practical qPCR workshops for national and international partners of National Institute of Biology (see list of our past workshops and our customers).

Image below shows a complete workflow related to gene expression analysis by real-time PCR, one of the most demanding applications of real-time PCR. It contains several stages each requesting a specific set of skills. In qPCR Experience workshops all critical elements of the workflow are presented and discussed by instructors experienced in qPCR.
