This is a satellite workshop of Joint Congress of Slovenian Biochemical Society and Slovenian Microbiological Society with International Participation in Association with 3rd CEFORM (Central Europeon Forum for Microbiology)organized by BioSistemika d.o.o. in collaboration with National Institute of Biology, Slovenia.
Real-time PCR technology is becoming a must technique in gene expression studies since it allows for sensitive, accurate and high-throughput quantification of mRNA. The 1-day workshop will be organized as a satellite meeting of SBS and SMS Joint Congress before the congress, and will cover real-time PCR theory, different applications of real-time PCR with emphasis on gene expression analysis, practical advice on sample preparation and quality control as well as reaction setup and data analysis practicals.
