qPCR Experience workshops

Most qPCR Experience® workshops are a hybrid of theoretical overview and practical work that includes:
  • handling machines
  • hands-on laboratory work (preparation of qPCR mixes, pipetting of samples)
  • practical data analysis on real sample results
They are organised in colaboration with National Institute of Biology at the Institute’s qPCR centre, the first and the best equipped qPCR centre in the country and region. In this way our attendants have the opportunity to experience practical work in the molecular laboratory with validated equipment and regime compliant with ISO standards. This most surely adds the value to the practical work since certain information about the organisation of such a high standard laboratory can be obtained. In order to ensure high quality of hands-on workshops they are organised in small groups (usually 12 participants).

Several types of qPCR Experience® workshops are available – examples:

1 Day Executive Workshop
Theoretical high-level overview of real-time PCR technology and applications, data analysis, quality control and automatisation.

2 Days Complete Workshop
Theoretical overview of qPCR technology, sample preparation, types of data analyses, data analysis and interpretation, quality control. Practical laboratory and data analysis work.

1 Day Data Analysis Workshop
Theoretical overview of qPCR technology, types of data analyses and data analysis on real data.

3-4 Day Special Focus Workshop
Theoretical overview of qPCR technology, assay design, ISO-compliant sample workflow and preparation, data analyses on real data, quality control, laboratory work, case studies presented by guest field specialists.

Personalised Workshops
Upon interest personalised workshops, focusing on specialised topics could also be organised on a different location.
